NextGen Label Group adds HP Indigo 6K+ digital press

NextGen Label Group, a New York-based label and packaging manufacturer, has announced its latest capital investment – an HP Indigo 6K+ digital press. This strategic addition enhances the company’s production capacity and expands its technical capabilities, enabling greater flexibility, faster speed to market, and superior digital print performance. The new press positions the NextGen Label Group to support today’s brand owners, delivering high-quality, versatile solutions on a digital platform designed for even the most complex and demanding applications. 

This investment, coupled with the organization’s recent installation of a Nilpeter FA-Line 22” press, further reinforces NextGen Label Group’s commitment to brand custodianship. Together, these new technologies help the company better serve the evolving needs of customers across key markets including wine and spirits, food and beverage, health and beauty, medical, and industrial.

The new HP Indigo 6K+ digital press provides advanced features unlocking real benefits that are critical to our customer’s success, including: 

  • Print Areas – up to 12.48” x 38.58” 
  • Seven Ink Stations with Specialty ElectroInks – Supports silver, white, invisible, fade-resistant inks, and custom spot colors for high-impact and functional printing. 
  • Matches up to 97% of Pantone Colors within 2.0 Delta E – Achieves exceptional color accuracy, including brand-critical spot colors, using an expanded ElectroInk portfolio. 
  • HP Indigo Spot Master – Automated color management tool for fast, accurate spot color matching and consistent reproduction across runs. 
  • Wide Substrate and Material Compatibility – Prints on a broad range of materials including thin films and shrink, textured label stocks, thick paperboard and sustainable substrates. 
  • Variable Data Content – Allows for the ability to create unique brand campaigns, seasonal promotions and personalized designs.
  • Digital Platform –Eliminates printing plates reducing cost, set-up time and minimizing inventory risk.

The new press is scheduled for delivery and installation in April 2026 and will be fully operational soon after.
